Production
of Foundation Seed
Foundation seed is produced from the breeder seed at the farms of the
Department of Agriculture H.P. and farms of the CSK H.P. Krishi Vishwa
Vidayalaya as well as Dr. Y.S. Parmar University of Horticulture and
Forestry.
During
the year under report, the foundation seed has been produced in an area
of 674.2834 ha and 6296.592 quintals of foundation seed has been sealed
at different Government farms
